Background
As lead sponsor to the London Marathon Exhibition events, adidas have a huge stand presence and have high targets for retail sales throughout the pre-marathon event. Held during the run up to the marathon, the exhibition features all the top running and sports brands who are all pushing their running products with a view to maximising revenue and brand awareness ahead of the marathon.
Brief
Create a retail based AV presentation to feature on the Ripe designed exhibition stand. The presentation had to clearly promote the adidas brand as lead sponsor to the event and as the leading sports brand for marathon runners. It was also required to showcase all marathon brands, products and technology, provide helpful marathon advice and guidance, and help maximise revenue during the event.
Solution
The key brands and products that adidas wanted to feature were identified and categorised within an initial storyboard. The storyboard detailed the key USP’s of each product and suggested an effective way to visualise the key technologies and features of each product. The retail elements on the video were interspersed with key brand messaging, marathon information and advice to keep interest levels high. Highlighting key product benefits helped to encourage potential purchasers to buy adidas running apparel above other competing brands. The way in which the products were displayed also ensured for an entertaining and interesting product promotion.
