ripe have taken design to a whole new level by designing a brand new residential property from scratch both inside and out.

Whilst ripe have vast experience of working with high profile clients such as Adidas, Gossard, Honda, Sony and Orange, they have also become somewhat of a property and regeneration specialist and this project is seen as the agency really practising what they preach for their clients.

With this entrepreneurial attitude it made sense for us to have a go at house design, after all we have long understood the intrinsic link between architecture and place brands. We committed to our brief to a truly modern home that is zero carbon and flexible in its layout to accommodate for changing lifestyles. The design is uncompromising in its modernity and truly distinct while still respecting its street context."

The house, on Leeds Road, Harrogate, which would normally be the work of accomplished architects, is a shining example of flexible contemporary design to suit the modern family today. Situated in an area of approximately 0.25 acres, the house includes five bedroom suites, an extensive open plan living area, home office, gym and a huge cinema/ entertainment space. Among the many high quality design features for the property is a triple height atrium flooded with natural light that creates a spectacular entrance and an indoor/outdoor kitchen concept that makes the building work in harmony with its surroundings.
