ripe flies the flag for MediaCityUK

All-important first print impressions of MediaCityUK to come from ripe after prestigious Peel Media commission.

ripe is appealing to its worldwide peer-group following its commission to produce the first print material to promote the £3bn MediaCityUK, Europe's biggest purpose-built media community in Salford Quays on Manchester's waterfront. The commission from the developers of the project, which aims to attract 1,000 creative and digital enterprises to the site, is to design and publish a triumvirate of brochures to generate initial awareness for the concept of a dedicated creative hub with its shared high tech infrastructure - and to specifically generate leads for the city's retail and commercial offerings.

The brochures have to appeal to like-minded spirits - people who love creativity and its many broadcast, print, digital and web applications. And who equally love a good opportunity when it presents itself. Of course, it adds a bit of pressure knowing our work will be seen by some of the world's biggest media companies. But it's a challenge we relish, capturing the real character and personality of this unique development.
